Jan Paweł II Regional Hospital (Zamość)

Our new challenge was the cooperation on the reconstruction of the department of gynecology, obstetrics and urology at the public hospital. This difficult, due to the tight budget, task yielded the creative concept based on the guiding theme, which was a hydrangea and its pastel shades. A hydrangea is to symbolize a woman and the transformation that occurs in her after childbirth.

To distinguish the identical rooms on the wards, which often caused communication problems, we proposed the use of colour code and photographs. This enabled easy identification of patient halls.

For the urology department we proposed photographs of Roztocze. We combined the beautiful landscapes with different shades of green on the room walls. The corridors separated by accents of pastel green and blue were additionally filled with wall segments in the colour of light timber to add the home-like atmosphere.
